Job summary

Guardrisk is seeking a priced actuarial professional to support pricing, product development and insights for the GGI business. You will collaborate with pricing, IT, underwriting and product teams to build robust pricing models and commercially viable products.

You will contribute to rate reviews, assess new offerings, monitor profitability and translate complex actuarial insights into actionable business decisions, while ensuring compliance and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Actuarial or mathematics degree required.
• Associate Actuary status or exams in progress.
• 2–4 years relevant work experience.
• Modelling experience is required.
• SQL, Python and R knowledge is advantageous.
• Strong numerical skills and MS Excel/Word; SQL literacy.

Responsibilities

• Take accountability for all product development and pricing frameworks.
• Coordinate with IT, underwriters and product owners to understand products and processes.
• Support rate reviews and re-pricing to maintain technical soundness and competitiveness.
• Oversee assessment and approval of new product offerings for viability and compliance.
• Review and ensure accuracy of team members' work.
• Improve tools and processes monitoring policy value accuracy.
• Investigate deviations and advise corrective actions.
• Ensure projects meet audit and risk requirements.
• Collaborate with external teams to define pricing models.
• Assist clients in designing bespoke products focused on profitability and sustainability.
• Manage financial performance reporting and product profitability.
