Placements24 is sourcing a Lead Hygiene Operations Manager for Cape Town to oversee all hygiene activities across multiple venues. The role demands extensive experience in cleaning and sanitation management, with a proven leadership track record and a deep understanding of health and safety regulations in South Africa.

You will develop robust hygiene protocols, train and mentor Supervisors, conduct audits, and manage procurement and inventory.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in cleaning and sanitation management.
• At least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in hospitality, healthcare, or food service sectors.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of South Africa health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day hygiene operations across all designated properties, ensuring consistent delivery of superior cleaning and sanitation services.
• Develop, refine, and implement comprehensive hygiene protocols and SOPs to meet industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, train, and manage a team of cleaning supervisors and staff, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to monitor hygiene compliance, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions immediately.
• Manage procurement and inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal utilization.
• Liaise with department heads and external regulatory bodies to ensure seamless hygiene service integration and compliance.
• Address and resolve any hygiene-related issues or guest feedback promptly and professionally.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, optimize resource allocation, and enhance service efficiency.
• Contribute to development of training programs for staff on hygiene best practices and safety protocols.
