Placements24 is seeking an experienced Lead Full Stack Engineer in George, Western Cape, to spearhead architecture and delivery of end-to-end software solutions. You will lead a team of developers, set standards, and drive technical direction.

You'll mentor staff, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure high-quality code, robust testing, and smooth deployment across cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8+ years in full-stack development with leadership experience.
• Frontend: React, Angular or Vue.js; Backend: Node.js, Python or Java.
• Cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and microservices architecture.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate development teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of scalable full-stack applications.
• Provide technical guidance to a team of frontend and backend developers.
• Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural patterns.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into specs.
• Oversee SDLC, including testing, deployment, and maintenance.
