Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a visionary Lead Full-Stack Developer to spearhead innovative web initiatives in Cape Town. You will architect and implement cutting-edge applications, guide a team of developers, and deliver high-quality, user-centric products.

Lead the design across frontend and backend, enforce coding standards, and collaborate with product owners and designers to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven 7+ years as a Full-Stack Developer.
• Extensive experience with frontend technologies (React, Angular, Vue.js) and backend languages (Node.js, Python, Ruby).
• Strong database design knowledge (SQL and NoSQL).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex, scalable web applications for frontend and backend.
• Mentor and guide a team of full-stack developers, enforcing coding standards.
• Collaborate with product owners and designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Oversee deployment, ensuring applications are robust, secure, and performant in production.
• Identify and implement opportunities for technical innovation and process improvement.
