Placements24 in Cape Town seeks an experienced Lead Full Stack Developer to spearhead the development of an e-commerce platform. You will guide a team of developers, architect scalable solutions, and define the technical roadmap to deliver high-quality user-centric features.

You will lead the SDLC, collaborate with product, UX/UI, and stakeholders, ensure code quality and security, and drive adoption of new technologies to enhance platform capabilities and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 7+ years of full-stack development experience, with 2+ years in a lead role.
• Front-end expertise (React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end (Node.js, Python/Django, Java/Spring).
• Experience designing scalable e-commerce platforms.
• Strong DB design (SQL/NoSQL), cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of full-stack developers.
• Architect scalable full-stack solutions for the e-commerce platform.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle from concept to deployment and maintenance.
