Placements24 is seeking an experienced Lead Financial Controller to manage accounting operations in Centurion, Gauteng. The role focuses on financial reporting, compliance, internal controls, and team leadership to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements.

The successful candidate will oversee audits, implement robust processes, and drive continuous improvement within the finance function.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (CA(SA), ACCA, CPA) required.
• 7+ years accounting/financial management experience.
• 3+ years in supervisory/leadership role.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and SA regulations.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in IFRS.
• Manage external audit process and timely resolution of audit findings.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls and accounting policies.
