Job summary

Communicate Finance is seeking an experienced finance leader to oversee the financial reporting function in Centurion. The role requires CA(SA) qualification and 5+ years in a supervisory finance capacity, with strong IFRS knowledge and IFRS 17 experience.

You will manage statutory reporting, annual financial statements, and regulatory submissions, while driving controls and stakeholder engagement. Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel is essential, as is the ability to lead multiple

Qualifications

• CA(SA) qualification is essential.
• 5+ years post-articles supervisory/management-level finance experience.
• Strong accounting knowledge including IFRS and IFRS 17.
• Experience preparing annual financial statements and regulatory reports.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP/accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of the financial reporting function.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, statutory returns, and management reports.
• Prepare Annual Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS and applicable accounting standards.
• Develop, maintain, and implement financial controls, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with tax legislation, regulatory requirements, and internal governance frameworks.
• Manage relationships with auditors and regulators.
• Coordinate internal and external audit processes.
• Lead the implementation of new accounting standards and reporting requirements.
• Monitor financial risks and provide strategic financial insights to executive management.
• Supervise and support reporting team members.
• Assist the CFO with financial planning and ad hoc projects.
