Job summary

Kendrick Recruitment seeks an experienced Head Trainer for a FGASA and CATHSSETA-accredited field guide training college in Limpopo. You will lead the training team, shape curriculum, mentor students and oversee compliance and stakeholder engagement.

The role requires extensive field guiding, strong leadership, and excellence in communication. Live-in accommodation and meals are provided at the private game reserve.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years field guiding in a 5-star environment.
• Minimum 2 years in senior training or mentoring.
• Valid First Aid Level 2.
• FGASA and/or CATHSSETA Assessor registration preferred.
• Strong knowledge of FGASA standards and curriculum requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the training team to deliver immersive field guide courses.
• Develop and maintain curriculum meeting FGASA standards.
• Mentor students and junior trainers for professional growth.
• Ensure quality assurance and compliance with FGASA and CATHSSETA.
• Coordinate training schedules and administrative tasks.
