Placements24 is seeking a Lead Electrical Project Engineer to oversee large industrial projects from concept to commissioning. You will manage an engineering team, drive design packages, and ensure delivery on schedule, budget, and quality while enforcing HSE standards.

The role offers hybrid work between Centurion headquarters and project sites, with opportunities for international travel and growth within a global organization. A strong leadership background is essential.

Qualifications

• BEng/BSc or MEng/MSc in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years in a project engineering or leadership role on industrial projects.
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) registration with ECSA is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering team for major industrial projects (mines, power plants, manufacturing facilities).
• Oversee development of electrical design packages including power distribution, protection systems, MCCs, and instrumentation.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the lifecycle.
