Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Electrical Project Engineer in Sandton to lead electrical projects from conception to completion. You will coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years of project leadership, strong knowledge of power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation, plus excellent communication and risk-management

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
5+ years of experience managing electrical engineering projects.
Strong understanding of electrical systems including power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation.
Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and monitor electrical engineering projects within scope, budget, and schedule.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to define requirements and deliverables.
Oversee design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems.
Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and standards.
Prepare reports, progress updates, and financial forecasts.
