Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical project engineering or management.
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple electrical projects.
• In-depth knowledge of South African electrical codes, standards, and regulations (SANS, IE&E).
• Experience with project management software (MS Project, Primavera).
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in both a remote and on-site capacity.
• Proficiency in electrical design software is advantageous.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
• Problem-solving aptitude and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of electrical engineering projects.
• Develop project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Manage project teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors.
• Ensure all electrical installations and systems comply with SANS, IE&E, and other relevant South African regulations.
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site inspections, progress monitoring, and quality control assessments.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving technical and logistical challenges.
• Prepare project status reports, financial summaries, and final project documentation.
• Lead technical reviews and provide engineering guidance to project teams.
• Manage procurement of electrical equipment and materials, ensuring timely delivery.
