WSP is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to join our property and build services team to provide technical leadership and act as the electrical design authority for high‑reliability power systems across data centre and industrial projects.

You will lead the design and delivery of HV/MV/LV systems, focusing on resilience, redundancy and operational continuity, and collaborate with a global multi‑disciplinary team.

Data centre experience is advantageous; travel locally and globally is expected.

Qualifications

• BSc Eng or BTech in Electrical Engineering required.
• Professional Registration with ECSA (Pr.Eng or Pr.Tech Eng) required.
• At least 10 years of consulting engineering experience with building services and industrial environment.
• Experience in data centre environments is advantageous.
• Ability to lead and deliver across project lifecycle with client focus.
• Strong communication and teamwork across global professionals.

Responsabilités

• Prepare designs, calculations, budgets and tender specifications; manage project finances.
• Collaborate with global multi-disciplinary teams on design and coordination.
• Deliver projects from inception to close-out; focus on data centres.
• Develop client relationships and secure repeat work in data centre/industrial sectors.
• Set up fee/contract agreements and manage professional fees.
• Manage office finances: WIP and invoicing; monitor hourly forecasting.
