Job summary

Communicate Finance is seeking a senior Electrical Building Services Consultant in South Africa. You will lead design and delivery of electrical building services, prepare designs and calculations, and coordinate with architects and multidisciplinary teams on commercial, industrial, retail, healthcare or residential projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in Electrical Building Services Consulting.
• Strong experience in design of MV/LV electrical systems, lighting and small power installations.
• Experience on commercial, industrial, retail, healthcare, or residential developments.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; Revit experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of electrical building services projects.
• Prepare electrical designs, calculations, and technical documentation.
• Design MV/LV reticulation, lighting, small power, standby power, and distribution systems.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during project implementation.
• Ensure designs comply with SANS standards, regulations, and client specifications.
• Manage project programmes, budgets, and client relationships.
• Mentor junior engineers and support successful delivery of projects.
