Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead major projects in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. You will plan, coordinate, and control construction initiatives from start to finish, ensuring safety, on-time delivery within budget and to high-quality standards.

Requirements include 8+ years in construction project management, knowledge of methods, materials, and regulations, and strong leadership and negotiation abilities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in construction project management.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering; professional certifications are a plus.
• Experience delivering large-scale industrial or commercial projects.
• Deep knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal requirements.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of construction projects from planning to execution with safety and quality focus.
• Develop and manage detailed schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams for efficient workflow.
• Monitor progress, identify risks or delays, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide regular progress reports to clients, architects, engineers and stakeholders.
