Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Construction Foreman to lead on-site teams across sites in the Richards Bay region. You will supervise daily activities, enforce safety, ensure quality, and drive efficiency to meet project milestones.

The ideal candidate has proven leadership experience, strong knowledge of construction methods, and the ability to read blueprints. You will connect project managers with the on-site workforce while maintaining safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or similar leadership role.
• Solid understanding of construction methods, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct construction crews, ensuring tasks are completed safely and according to project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide work activities.
• Manage site logistics, including material staging, equipment operation, and workforce deployment.
• Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce all safety regulations on site.
• Monitor work progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on schedule.
• Maintain daily reports on site activities, personnel, and material usage.
