Placements24 is seeking an experienced Industrial Project Manager to lead large-scale projects in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. You will plan, coordinate, and control scope, budget, and schedules while guiding engineering teams, contractors, and suppliers to meet milestones safely and efficiently.

The role requires a degree in Engineering and a minimum of six years in heavy engineering settings, with strong leadership, communication, and risk-management skills.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in managing industrial/heavy engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of industrial processes, equipment, and construction techniques.
• Proven ability to manage project finances, schedules, and site operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of industrial projects from conception to completion.
• Develop and manage project scope, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for industrial initiatives.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project operations.
• Implement and enforce stringent HSE protocols on project sites.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
• Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with industry standards.
