Placements24 is seeking a Senior Site Manager to lead construction projects in Bloemfontein, overseeing site operations from initiation through handover. You will manage crews, subcontractors, schedules, and budgets while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

The role demands strong leadership, detailed planning, and a proven ability to deliver complex infrastructure projects on time and within scope in the Free State region.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in construction site management and project leadership.
• Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in project management software for scheduling and progress tracking.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
• Develop and implement detailed project schedules and resource allocation plans.
• Enforce all health, safety, and environmental regulations on the construction site, conducting regular audits.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors, suppliers, and site labor.
• Perform regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure work meets required standards.
• Communicate project progress and issues effectively to senior management and stakeholders.
