Placements24 is seeking an imaginative and experienced Lead Concept Artist to guide the creative vision in Vereeniging. You will lead a team of concept artists, setting visual style and direction for characters, environments, and props across projects.

This role requires leadership, a strong portfolio, and proficiency in Photoshop/Procreate, with a passion for world-building and storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Concept Artist in the games, film, or animation industry, with proven leadership experience.
• A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional artistic skill, creativity, and a broad range of concept art styles.
• Proficiency in industry-standard digital painting software (e.g., Photoshop, Procreate).
• Deep understanding of anatomy, color theory, composition, architecture, and visual storytelling.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
