• 8+ years of logistics experience with cold chain specialization.
• Experience managing temperature-sensitive supply chains (pharma, biologics, food).

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and optimize all aspects of the cold chain logistics process, from origin to destination. Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for temperature-controlled transportation and storage. Monitor and manage temperature excursions, investigating root causes and implementing preventative measures. Ensure compliance with international and local regulations pertaining to cold chain management (e.g., GDP, HACCP). Collaborate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations and timely delivery. Manage relationships with key cold chain service providers and conduct performance reviews. Utilize advanced tracking and monitoring technologies to maintain product integrity and provide real-time updates. Analyze logistics data to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for cost reduction and service improvement. Prepare detailed reports on cold chain performance, risks, and operational improvements. Lead and mentor a team of logistics coordinators, ensuring adherence to strict quality and safety protocols.

Requirements

Minimum of 8 years of experience in logistics, with a strong specialization in cold chain management. Demonstrated expertise in managing temperature-sensitive supply chains (pharmaceuticals, biologics, food). Comprehensive knowledge of Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and other relevant regulations. Proven experience with cold chain monitoring equipment and software solutions. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions. Excellent project management and leadership capabilities. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Strong negotiation and communication skills for managing third-party logistics providers. Ability to travel as needed to oversee operations and meet with partners. Resilience and adaptability in managing critical, time-sensitive shipments.
