Job summary

Scatec ASA is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer – Wind to lead civil engineering across wind projects from development to operations. You will guide geotechnical, hydrological, structural, roads, and foundation work, coordinating with internal teams, consultants, contractors and suppliers to deliver safe, compliant solutions.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with registration (or Chartered Engineer) and 8+ years in civil engineering, including 3+ years in wind energy.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering and professional registration or Chartered Engineer status.
• 8+ years in civil engineering with at least 3 years in solar and wind energy.
• Proven design management experience across complex civil infrastructure including foundations, drainage, roads, pavements, structures and buildings.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering activities across wind projects providing technical direction to teams, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
• Assess civil risks during development including foundations, roads, drainage and structures.
• Prepare and evaluate civil RFP documentation and perform due diligence on substructures.
• Coordinate and review detailed civil designs ensuring alignment with development and structuring requirements.
• Support project execution with design assurance, QC, site input and change reviews.
• Mentor civil engineers and drive knowledge-sharing within the team.
