Clicks Group Limited in Soweto is seeking a reliable Retail Cashier Supervisor to oversee cashier operations in a busy store. You will supervise the cashier team, manage cash handling, balance tills, and ensure accurate transactions while delivering excellent customer service at the point of sale.

The ideal candidate has proven supervisory experience, solid POS knowledge, strong cash management and communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Experience as Cashier Supervisor or similar with supervisory duties.
• Strong understanding of POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Excellent cash management and basic accounting skills.
• Leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Customer-focused attitude and commitment to service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the cashier team.
• Ensure all customer transactions are processed accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
• Manage cash handling procedures, including balancing tills, preparing deposits, and monitoring cash flow.
• Train new cashiers on store policies, procedures, and customer service expectations.
• Address and resolve customer issues or complaints related to transactions or payments.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
