Placements24 seeks a meticulous Land Surveyor to join our established practice in Sandton. The role focuses on defining property boundaries, topographic and engineering surveys, and delivering precise survey data for diverse projects across Gauteng.

You will use GPS, total stations and laser scanners, ensure compliance with cadastral legislation, and contribute to high-quality survey outputs while working largely on-site in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Surveying or Geomatics.
• Registration with the SAGC is required.
• Minimum of 5 years as a practicing land surveyor.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroStation.
• Strong knowledge of SA land surveying legislation and cadastral systems.
• Detail-oriented, problem-solver, able to work independently on site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cadastral surveys to establish and re-establish property boundaries per legal requirements.
• Perform topographic and engineering surveys for site development and infrastructure projects.
• Operate and maintain GPS, total stations and laser scanners.
