About the Role

Our client is seeking a qualified and meticulous Civil Engineering Surveyor to join their operations based in Sandton . This role is integral to the successful planning and execution of construction projects, requiring precise measurements and data collection. You will be responsible for conducting topographical surveys, setting out construction sites, and providing accurate data for design and as-built documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of surveying principles and technologies, contributing essential groundwork for infrastructure development in Gauteng , ensuring projects are accurately positioned and dimensioned.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct topographical, boundary, and construction surveys using advanced surveying equipment and techniques.
• Set out control points and provide precise staking for excavation, foundations, and infrastructure elements.
• Perform volume calculations for earthworks, stockpiles, and site materials.
• Process and analyze survey data, producing accurate drawings and reports using CAD and GIS software.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols during all surveying activities.
• Liaise with project engineers and site teams to understand survey requirements and deliver timely data.
