Job summary

Network Finance in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced IT professional to provide advanced troubleshooting of complex incidents and conduct root cause analysis. You will implement permanent fixes, support and optimize infrastructure, and liaise with external vendors to ensure uptime and performance.

Based in the Randburg area with travel to client sites as needed, you will contribute to security improvements, document procedures, and mentor junior engineers while participating in strategic IT

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Tier 3 IT support or infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting across networks, servers, and applications.
• Knowledge of security, patch management and compliance.
• Based in Johannesburg with ability to travel for client visits.

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in a Tier 3 / Level 3 IT Support or Infrastructure role
• Strong expertise in advanced troubleshooting across networks, servers, and applications
• Solid understanding of system performance, monitoring, and optimization
• Experience with root cause analysis and problem management
• Knowledge of IT security, patch management, and compliance standards
• Ability to work independently on high-impact, business-critical issues
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• Based in Johannesburg (preferably within close proximity to Sunninghill)
• Own reliable transport (client site visits required)
• Must have legal eligibility to work in South Africa
