Job summary

SolarAfrica Energy Pty Ltd is seeking a Learning and Development Manager to own end-to-end L&D delivery, onboarding, and governance. You will partner with managers to translate business needs into scalable programmes and competency frameworks, with data-driven decisions guiding improvements.

You will run L&D systems, ensure compliance, manage the budget, and demonstrate ROI while collaborating with external providers and internal stakeholders across the business in South Africa.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, OD, L&D or related field; postgraduate certification is a plus.
• 7+ years in L&D/OD or talent development with strategy implementation experience.
• Proven record building competency frameworks, career pathways and IDPs.
• Strong knowledge of the South African L&D landscape and providers.

Responsibilities

• Implement and delivery of SolarAfrica's L&D strategy and budget.
• Design, deliver, and evaluate leadership and technical programmes.
• Drive onboarding, IDPs and career development with managers.
• Govern learning systems, data reporting and ROI to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with providers and manage qualifications and pathways.
