Placements24 is seeking a junior civil engineer to join our transportation engineering team in Klerksdorp. You will assist in design, planning, and implementation of road and traffic infrastructure under the guidance of senior engineers.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree and have 0–3 internship or professional experience. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and traffic software such as VISSIM or SIDRA is desired, along with strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 0–3 years of internship or professional experience in civil engineering, focused on transportation projects.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and traffic analysis software (VISSIM, SIDRA).
• Basic understanding of highway design principles and traffic operations.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the design of transportation infrastructure including roadways and drainage.
• Perform traffic analysis and modeling to assess flow and safety.
• Prepare drawings, calculations and reports under supervision.
• Conduct field investigations and site support as needed.
• Collaborate with project teams to meet requirements, budget, and schedule.
• Learn and apply engineering standards and best practices for transportation projects.
