Job summary

TIH is seeking a Software Tester to support the business requirements for system testing services within a financial services portfolio. You will design and execute test scenarios to verify specifications, reject nonconforming material, and ensure data readiness in line with POPI regulations.

Roles include identifying risks, managing issues, performing quality assurance across the project lifecycle, coordinating re-testing with business testers or third-party providers, and engaging stakeholders

Qualifications

Matric / Grade 12 (Essential) and testing certs welcomed.
1–2 years experience in a Software Tester role.
Experience with Agile and DevOps advantageous.
Exposure to various Automation Tools and financial services experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

Perform specified tests to verify specifications and reject nonconforming material.
Identify risks, issue management and quality assurance during the project life cycle.
Carry out quality management activities under guidance of senior colleagues.
Execute test scenarios and scripts prioritised by business or technical priorities.
Coordinate re-testing with business testers or third-party providers.
Manage test data and ensure data availability and POPI compliance.
Engage daily with project stakeholders to review status and next steps.
Follow mandatory procedures to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
Develop personal capabilities through training and ongoing education.
