Job summary

Time Personnel is seeking a Junior Technical Sales Representative in Cape Town to call on customers and develop client relationships. Product training will be provided to offer technical support and manage installations; a valid South African driver’s license is required.

Requirements include matric or equivalent, 1–2 years’ experience, and confident communication in Afrikaans and English, plus computer literacy and a driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Matric or similar qualification.
• Minimum 1-2 years’ work experience.
• Confident communication skills in both Afrikaans and English.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, email).
• Driver’s license required.
• Strong attention to detail and organisation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service existing customer base.
• Develop and nurture customer relations.
• Prepare quotations for new and existing customers.
• Process sales orders and invoices.
• Regularly conduct calls with existing customers.
• Provide technical support for customers.
• Provide product training for customers.
• Deliver orders to customers as required.
• Install equipment as required – training provided.
• Site visits with customers to assist with quotations.
• Identify new and potential customers.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales and call reports.
• Any other ad hoc duties as required.

Our international client in the Northern Suburbs requires a junior technically savvy individual to join their Cape Town team to call on customers and develop client relationships.

Product training will be provided to offer technical support and manage installations.

Valid South African driver’s license is required.

R20 000 - R22 000 (Company Car, Medical Aid, Pension, Laptop, Market related, Negotiable).
