Job summary

RPO Recruitment's client, a well-established renewable energy company in Johannesburg, seeks a Junior Technical Assistant (Solar PV). You will prepare high-level Bills of Quantities from Solar PV designs and interpret outputs to support accurate costing.

Qualifications

• Currently studying Electrical Engineering or Solar PV qualification.
• Experience with solar PV design tools is advantageous.
• Attention to detail and strong administrative abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-level Bills of Quantities from Solar PV designs using standard templates.
• Interpret design outputs and ensure accurate quantities for costing purposes.
• Review designs for accuracy and escalate discrepancies when needed.
• Liaise with internal teams to obtain outstanding design or site information.
• Assist with site inspections and site surveys as required.
• Support the Business Development team by preparing costing-ready documentation.
