Job summary

Resources Partners Pty Ltd seeks a Junior Contracts Manager to support planning, execution and commercial management of construction projects. The role is primarily site-based, coordinating resources, costs and documentation under the Contracts Manager.

Travel is required and salary is on a monthly basis. The candidate will progress from a Site Agent/Assistant Contracts Manager into broader contracts management, reporting to the Contracts Manager and ensuring OHSA compliance and on-site safety.

Qualifications

• National Diploma in Civil Engineering or similar qualification.
• 3–5 years' experience as a Site Agent with readiness to progress into Contracts Management.
• 1–2 years' experience as a Junior/Assistant Contracts Manager.
• Experience in a construction/site environment.
• Working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and site compliance.
• Proficient in MS Office and MS Project.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Willingness to travel and work predominantly on site.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand project scopes, specifications and contractual requirements.
• Ensure compliance with specific contract conditions.
• Assist with planning and coordinating site resources, materials and equipment.
• Prepare and maintain the site contract programme.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Contracts Manager.
• Manage site crews, time and resources within approved parameters.
• Identify and record additional work required by the client.
• Maintain effective client relationships and communication.
• Attend site and project meetings.
• Implement and maintain appropriate site filing and documentation systems.
• Compile project and progress reports as required.
