Headhunters in Gauteng, City Deep, is seeking a Junior SAP B1 Support Administrator/Assistant to provide day-to-day SAP Business One support to users, assist with queries and system issues, and help with basic reporting.

The role requires reviewing SAP documents, investigating problems, maintaining user accounts and authorisations, and escalating complex cases to the SAP B1 Specialist. Strong Excel skills and a willingness to learn are important.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of relevant SAP Business One experience.
Willingness to learn and continuously develop SAP Business One knowledge.
Previous SAP Business One support experience will be advantageous.
SAP Business One certification will be advantageous.
Basic SQL knowledge will be advantageous.
Experience with SAP Business One Query Generator / Query Manager will be advantageous.
Experience with Data Transfer Workbench (DTW) will be advantageous.
Experience with Boyum B1 Usability Package and/or B1 Print & Delivery will be advantageous.
Experience with helpdesk or ticketing systems will be advantageous.
Experience with ERP reporting and data analysis will be advantageous.
Good understanding of stock and inventory processes will be advantageous.
Basic understanding of finance and accounting processes will be advantageous.
Good Microsoft Excel knowledge.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day SAP Business One support to users.
Assist users with SAP-related queries, errors and general system issues.
Investigate reported problems before escalating them.
Review SAP documents, transactions, document flows, master data and authorisations when investigating issues.
Reproduce system errors where possible and gather relevant supporting information.
Resolve routine SAP support issues independently where appropriate.
Provide users with clear feedback and follow support issues through to resolution.
Identify recurring issues and escalating them to the SAP B1 Specialist.
Create and maintain SAP Business One users.
Assist with user onboarding, changes and offboarding.
Maintain user settings, profiles and authorisations.
Investigate user access and authorisation-related issues.
Assist with SAP licence allocation and monitoring.
Ensure user and access changes are accurately documented.
Assist users with standard SAP Business One reports.
Run and distribute operational reports as required.
Assist with basic SAP queries and reporting requirements.
Investigate basic report and transactional data discrepancies.
Assist with data extraction and preparation.
Perform routine SAP Business One administrative tasks and basic system housekeeping.
Assist with master data maintenance where required.
Assist with Data Transfer Workbench (DTW) activities.
Assist with testing following SAP system changes, updates or developments.
Provide basic user guidance and support where required.
Monitor and manage SAP support tickets.
Log, categorise, prioritise and update support requests.
Ensure support tickets contain sufficient information for investigation.
Escalate complex SQL, development, integration, Boyum and project-related matters to the SAP B1 Specialist.
Keep users informed of the status of their support requests.
Follow up on outstanding support issues and assist with appropriate ticket closure.
Identify recurring support issues and potential system or process improvements.
Assist with testing approved SAP changes and improvements.
Develop a strong working knowledge of the company's SAP Business One processes.
