Job summary

Greys Recruitment, on behalf of a leading telecoms and IT solutions provider, seeks a dynamic Sales Consultant for Johannesburg.

You will identify new business, nurture client relationships, upsell services, and support negotiations with the senior sales team, travelling across Gauteng to close deals.

The role requires a Matric, fluent English, a valid driver’s licence, and a proven sales mindset in ICT solutions.

Qualifications

• Matric Certificate.
• Fluent in English.
• Previous sales experience is advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Client Engagement & Upselling
• Conduct follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
• Assist in preparing sales presentations and proposals
• Support contract negotiations under the guidance of senior sales staff
• Close smaller sales deals with supervision
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and evolving client needs
• Share insights to help refine product offerings and sales strategies
• Develop an in-depth understanding of our telecommunications products and services
• Clearly articulate product features and benefits to potential clients
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM systems
• Prepare periodic sales reports for internal review
• Focus primarily on the Gauteng region
• Travel to client sites within the region to present solutions and close deals
