Job summary

Village n Life in Camps Bay, Cape Town, seeks a Junior MICE Reservations Agent to support the Group Services team with enquiries and reservations for meetings, incentives, conferences and events.

You will prepare quotations, capture details, and ensure bookings are accurately managed from enquiry through to confirmation, while learning in a busy, client-focused hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good administrative and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up consistently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with MICE, group, conference and event enquiries.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and booking correspondence using approved rates and templates.
• Capture and maintain accurate reservation and client information.
• Follow up on outstanding quotations, information and booking requirements.
• Assist with booking amendments, confirmations and cancellations.
• Communicate professionally with clients by telephone and email.
