Job summary

Village n Life is seeking a Junior IT Technician to support the technology backbone across our multiple properties. Based in Camps Bay, Cape Town, you will handle first-line IT support, system checks, user setups, and basic troubleshooting to keep the operation running smoothly and guests satisfied.

You will work hands-on in a fast-paced hospitality tech environment, balancing methodical tasks with quick problem-solving while staying calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ IT support experience.
• Solid Windows and macOS knowledge.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 on remote support tools.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-tier IT support across properties and respond to tickets, calls and walk-ins.
• Maintain daily checks, basic server checks, and reporting to Head of Technology.
• Assist with standardised computer deployments, software installations and user setups.
• Troubleshoot diverse tech landscape with remote tools or on-site.
• Support CCTV, access control, IP phone operations, and basic networking checks.
