Job summary

Managed People Solutions in Hillcrest, Durban seeks a Junior Merchandiser Intern to join a fast-paced liquor/retail team. You will help create eye‑catching displays, ensure stock availability, check pricing, and learn in-store promotions while gaining hands-on experience with leading brands.

Qualifications

• Under 28 years of age.
• Currently unemployed and have not participated in a similar internship before.
• NCV Level 4 in Administration, Finance, Transport & Logistics, Management, Marketing, or IT.
• N6 Certificate in Marketing Management or Business Management.

Responsibilities

• Determine stock that needs to be merchandised.
• Ensure the correct stock is available in-store.
• Check product quality, rotation, and pricing.
• Set up products according to merchandising standards.
• Report customer issues and requests.
• Maintain accurate merchandising records.
• Monitor and report out-of-stock items to management.
• Keep up to date with product knowledge and promotions.
• Execute store calls according to the call cycle.
• Advise the Regional Sales Manager on out-of-stock products.
