Job summary

Managed People Solutions in Ballito, KwaZulu-Natal, is offering a Junior Merchandiser Intern position in the liquor and retail industry. You will gain hands-on experience creating in-store displays and working with leading brands.

The role includes a monthly stipend and structured duration options (TVET N6 18 months / NCV Level 4 12 months). Working hours are 9 per day, including lunch, with on-the-job training in stock, pricing, and store visits.

Qualifications

• Under 28 years old.
• Currently unemployed and have not participated in a similar internship before.
• NCV Level 4 in Administration, Finance, Transport & Logistics, Management, Marketing or IT.
• N6 Certificate in Marketing Management or Business Management.

Responsibilities

• Determine stock to be merchandised.
• Ensure correct stock is available in-store.
• Check product quality, rotation and pricing.
• Set up products following merchandising standards.
• Report customer issues and requests.
• Maintain accurate merchandising records.
• Monitor and report out-of-stock items to management.
• Keep up to date with product knowledge and promotions.
• Execute store calls according to the cycle.
• Advise the Regional Sales Manager on out-of-stock products.

Stipend: R3500 per month
Contract Duration: TVET N6: 18 months / NCV Level 4: 12 months
Working Hours: 9 hours per day (including lunch)

• Determine stock that needs to be merchandised.
