Job summary

Marvel Placement Consultants seeks a Mechanical Engineer with a BEng/BSc and 3+ years' post-graduate experience in construction, EPCM, engineering consulting or mining environments to contribute to diverse mechanical projects.

You will prepare calculations, drawings and reports, support senior engineers, perform site inspections and liaise with clients and suppliers to ensure compliance with standards and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (BEng/BSc) required.
• 3+ years post-graduate experience in a construction, EPCM, engineering consulting or mining environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design and development of mechanical engineering solutions for various projects.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and supporting documentation.
• Produce and review mechanical drawings and technical designs.
• Support senior engineers throughout the project lifecycle, from planning through to commissioning.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Assist with equipment selection and mechanical system design.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal project teams.
• Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, company procedures, and health and safety regulations.
• Assist with procurement activities, technical evaluations, and project scheduling.
• Identify engineering risks and propose practical technical solutions.
• Maintain accurate engineering documentation and project records.
