• Assist with the preparation and posting of journals, ensuring financial transactions are recorded accurately and completely.
• Prepare routine balance sheet reconciliations and investigate reconciling items for review.
• Assist with the preparation of management accounting schedules and supporting documentation.
• Compile variance analysis packs comparing actual results to budget for review by the Management Accountant.
• Support the preparation of tax schedules and related financial information
• Assist with maintaining asset registers and supporting schedules.
• Support the compilation of regulatory and statutory reporting requirements.
• Contribute to year-end reporting activities, including audit preparation and disclosure schedules.
• Respond to audit requests by providing accurate supporting documentation and information.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in line with governance and compliance requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within finance processes and controls
• Build effective working relationships with Management Accountants, Finance Business Partners, business leaders, and other key stakeholders
• Provide proactive support and contribute to sound financial decision-making through accurate reporting and analysis.
