Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a Lodge Anchor for a luxury safari lodge in Sabi Sands, South Africa. The role requires someone with a passion for hospitality, strong operational know-how, and a track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The position is live-in with accommodation provided, offering the chance to lead front-of-house operations, manage host responsibilities, and coordinate staff while maintaining high service standards in a remote bush setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role in a high-end lodge or hotel environment.
• Must have strong F&B knowledge.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Confident hosting ability and an eye for detail.
• Passion for the hospitality industry and guest satisfaction.
• Comfortable living in a remote bush setting and working flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lodge Manager with daily operations and ensure seamless guest experiences
• Act as a point of contact for guests, handling requests, feedback, and queries with professionalism
• Oversee and assist with front-of-house duties, reservations, hosting, and guest check-ins/check-outs
• Maintain communication between departments and ensure high service standards are upheld
• Assist with staff coordination, motivation, and general lodge management when needed
• Ensure that every guest enjoys an unforgettable stay, full of warmth and personalized service
