Job summary

African Diamond in Cape Town seeks an experienced travel coordinator to manage FIT and group bookings from enquiry to invoicing. You will coordinate with suppliers for accommodation, transport, guides, and activities, and load bookings into the reservations system with high accuracy.

Load documents such as rooming lists, vouchers, and itineraries and monitor bookings for accuracy. You will liaise with guides and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery and handle amendments and queries while adhering

Your Role

• Responsible for FIT and Group bookings from initial enquiry to final documentation and invoicing
• Coordinate with suppliers, including accommodation, transport, guides, meet and greet, and activities
• Accurate and timely loading of bookings into the reservations system
• Prepare and issue operational documentation, including rooming lists, vouchers, itineraries, and service confirmation
• Monitor bookings for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all services are correctly scheduled
• Liaise with guides and suppliers to ensure smooth on-the-ground delivery.
• Action amendments, reconfirmations, and address pre-and post-travel queries
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, deadlines, and quality standards
• Provide support to the broader operations where required

• Previous experience in inbound travel, reservations, or a similar role
• Destination, services, and logistical knowledge of South and Southern Africa
• Reservations system experience
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• A proactive, solutions-driven mindset
• Passion for delivering outstanding customer and guest experiences Grade 12 qualification. A qualification in Tourism will be highly advantageous.
