Qualifications

• Experience in inbound travel, reservations or similar role.
• Knowledge of South and Southern Africa destinations and services.
• Proficient in reservations systems.

• Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
• Tourism qualification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle FIT and group bookings from enquiry to invoicing.
• Coordinate with accommodation, transport, guides, meet and greet, and activities.
• Load bookings accurately into the reservations system.
• Prepare operational docs: rooming lists, vouchers, itineraries, confirmations.
• Monitor bookings for accuracy and scheduling of services.
• Liaise with guides and suppliers for on-ground delivery.
• Process amendments, reconfirmations and travel queries.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and deadlines.
• Provide support to broader operations as needed.

Your Role

• Responsible for FIT and Group bookings from initial enquiry to final documentation and invoicing
• Coordinate with suppliers, including accommodation, transport, guides, meet and greet, and activities
• Accurate and timely loading of bookings into the reservations system
• Prepare and issue operational documentation, including rooming lists, vouchers, itineraries, and service confirmation
• Monitor bookings for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all services are correctly scheduled
• Liaise with guides and suppliers to ensure smooth on-the-ground delivery
• Action amendments, reconfirmations, and address pre-and post-travel queries
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, deadlines, and quality standards
• Provide support to the broader operations where required

Requirements

• Previous experience in inbound travel, reservations, or a similar role
• Destination, services, and logistical knowledge of South and Southern Africa
• Reservations system experience
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• A proactive, solutions-driven mindset
• Passion for delivering outstanding customer and guest experiences Grade 12 qualification. A qualification in Tourism will be highly advantageous
