Job summary

Telebest in South Africa is seeking an experienced inbound tour consultant to support our USA & Australasia or UK & Europe divisions. The role handles international enquiries, designs tailormade itineraries, quotes packages, and converts quotes to bookings with a strong focus on service and accuracy.

You will work with Southern Africa suppliers, engage in negotiations, and provide specialist destination advice to agents, ensuring high-quality customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years inbound tour consulting experience required.
• Experience working with overseas tour operators.
• In-depth knowledge of Southern Africa destinations.
• Experience with FIT and ad hoc group quoting and processing.
• Ability to design itineraries for tailormade enquiries.
• Experience creating and quoting packages for agent websites.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Clear communication via email and telephone.
• Willingness to handle after-hours calls on a rotational basis.
• Creative, proactive, and customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Quote and convert bookings from cradle to grave.

The candidate should be confident, self-motivated and goal-driven. If you are detail-orientated and accurate this might be the role for you. The position is either within our USA & Australasia Division or our UK & Europe Division.

Key Performance area:

• Having a passion for the travel industry
• A Minimum of 5 years inbound tour consulting experience required
• Experience with working with overseas tour operators
• In depth product and destination knowledge of Southern Africa
• All-rounder, with experience in FIT and ad hoc group quoting and processing
• Experience with designing itineraries for ADHOC tailormade enquiries
