Junior House Manager / Assistant Concierge – Cape Town, Western Cape

This opportunity is ideal for a hospitality professional with a strong eye for detail, excellent organisational skills and a passion for delivering personalised service within an exclusive, high-end environment.

The successful candidate will support the House Manager and concierge team in overseeing daily guest services, coordinating special requests and ensuring that every guest receives an exceptional and seamless experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the daily management of guest services and the smooth running of the property.

• Provide a warm, professional and personalised welcome to guests.

• Assist with guest arrivals and departures, ensuring all arrangements are handled efficiently.

• Coordinate restaurant bookings, transfers, excursions, private experiences and other concierge requests.

• Anticipate guest needs and ensure that individual preferences and special requirements are attended to.

• Maintain strong communication with housekeeping, front office and other operational departments.

• Assist with monitoring room readiness, property presentation and overall service standards.

• Handle guest enquiries, requests and concerns professionally and promptly.

• Support the House Manager with daily operational duties, scheduling and administrative tasks.

• Maintain accurate guest information and ensure special requests are communicated to the relevant teams.

• Assist with organising VIP arrivals, special occasions and bespoke guest experiences.

• Build positive relationships with guests and external service providers.

• Uphold the hotel's standards of discretion, professionalism and attention to detail at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a luxury hotel, boutique property, private residence or high-end hospitality environment.

• Experience in guest relations, concierge services, front office or hospitality supervision would be advantageous.
