Job summary

Cecile Personnel (Pty) Ltd in Durban seeks a qualified conveyancer to manage transfers, mortgage bonds and cancellations for commercial and deceased estates. An LLB or equivalent is required with at least 3 years of conveyancing experience and a solid understanding of property law and FICA compliance.

You will draft and review contracts, transfer deeds and mortgage documents, coordinate post-completion formalities and handle multiple matters efficiently in a busy practice.

Qualifications

• LLB or equivalent legal qualification.
• Minimum 3 years conveyancing experience.
• Experience with Transfers, Mortgage Bonds and Cancellations.
• Experience with commercial and deceased estates.
• Strong knowledge of conveyancing procedures and property law.
• Experience with notarial deeds, subdivisions, consolidations and sectional title schemes.
• Ability to draft and review contracts, transfer deeds and mortgage documents.
• Experience preparing completion statements and handling post-completion formalities.
• Strong understanding of FICA and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and administrative skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple matters.
• Systems Experience.
• Experience with some or all of the following will be advantageous: GhostPractice or similar | LexisConvey | E4 | DM11 | Windeed | Guarantee Hub | Stordoc | SARS eFiling.
• Experience with distressed transfers will be an added advantage.
