Job summary

Placements24 in Welkom is looking for a qualified Conveyancer to manage end-to-end property transfers, bond registrations and cancellations. You will draft deeds, transfer and bond documents, and coordinate with agents, banks, SARS and the Deeds Office to ensure compliant, timely deals.

The role requires admitted attorney or candidate attorney with Fidelity Fund Certificate and proven conveyancing experience, strong client service and organizational skills, plus proficiency with conveyancing

Qualifications

• Admitted attorney or candidate attorney with a valid Fidelity Fund Certificate.
• Proven experience in handling property transfers (sectional title, full title, deceased estates).
• Thorough understanding of SA property law and Deeds Office procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end process of property transfers, bond registrations, and cancellations.
• Draft all necessary legal documentation, including deeds of sale, transfer documents, and bond documents.
• Liaise with estate agents, financial institutions, SARS, and the Deeds Office to expedite transactions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant property law, tax regulations, and client instructions.

Requirements

• Admitted attorney or candidate attorney with a valid FidelityFundCertificate and proven experience as a Conveyancer.

• Thorough understanding of South African property law and Deeds Office procedures.
