Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university.
0–2 years' experience in chemical engineering, internships or co-op placements are highly valued.
Solid understanding of fundamental chemical engineering principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with process simulation software is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude.

Responsibilities

Assist in the analysis of existing chemical processes to identify areas for improvement.
Support senior engineers in designing and implementing process modifications.
Collect and analyze process data to track performance and identify trends.
Conduct literature reviews and research on new technologies relevant to process improvement.
Participate in troubleshooting operational issues and assist in developing solutions.
Help prepare process documentation, including P&IDs and operating procedures.
Ensure adherence to safety and environmental protocols during all activities.
Collaborate with plant operators and technicians to understand operational challenges.
Contribute to team meetings and report on progress of assigned tasks.
