Qualifications

• B.Eng. or B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience in chemical engineering, internships included.
• Fundamental understanding of chemical engineering principles, including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat/mass transfer.
• Basic knowledge of process control and instrumentation.
• Proficiency in data analysis using tools such as Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to process improvements.
• Familiarity with safety protocols in an industrial setting is an advantage.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid capacity, attending site as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring chemical processes and collecting operational data.
• Analyze process data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and yield.
• Support senior engineers in troubleshooting production issues and implementing solutions.
• Contribute to the development and updating of process documentation and operating procedures.
• Ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards in all activities.
• Participate in process hazard reviews and risk assessments.
• Assist with pilot plant studies and scale-up activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and maintenance.
