JVR Software in South Africa is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage reconciliations, debtor control, supplier accruals and monthly reporting. You will drive timely financial closes and ensure adherence to company policies.

The role requires hands-on experience with cloud-based accounting systems, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication to support cross-functional teams. A valid driver’s licence and own transport are advantageous for site visits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a hospitality, property, accommodation, or service-driven environment.
• Strong reconciliations and debtors management experience.
• Experience working on cloud-based accounting systems.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Own reliable transport and valid driver’s licence – advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Perform bank, credit card, petty cash, deposit, and control account reconciliations.
• Manage debtor accounts and ensure adherence to debtor management policies.
• Prepare age analysis reports and monitor outstanding accounts.
• Facilitate payment arrangements in line with company policy.
• Process and reconcile supplier accounts and monthly accruals.
• Prepare and post journals and provisions.
• Assist with monthly payment runs and cash flow-related activities.
• Manage stock processing and reconciliations.
• Maintain and prepare monthly audit files.
• Ensure all financial deadlines are achieved timeously.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports.
• Support continuous improvement of accounting processes and controls.
