The Globevest Group is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team at Lanseria. The role covers supplier invoicing, ERP processing, GL journal postings, VAT handling, and asset register maintenance in a dynamic energy-related business.

Candidate must have accounting basics, SAICA/CIMA exposure, and fluency in English and Afrikaans. Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure will thrive in this position.

Qualifikationen

• Grade 12 with higher grade / pure Mathematics (non-negotiable).
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar field.
• Accounting experience essential.
• Completion of SAICA Articles or CIMA.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
• Excel advanced and MS Office proficiency.

Aufgaben

• Credit release sign-off.
• Process supplier invoices on ERP system, match to PO and GRN.
• Follow-up with suppliers for invoices and statements.
• Reconcile clearing agents accounts and VAT returns.
• Capture credit card payments and reconcile to statements.
• Post/release GL journals on ERP system.
• Update Fixed assets register including monthly depreciation.
