Job summary

Dante Personnel Recruitment is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant for their client in Lanseria. The successful candidate will manage key accounting functions and ensure the accuracy of financial records.

A relevant accounting qualification, strong knowledge of VAT and reconciliations, and experience with ERP systems are necessary. The role requires advanced Excel skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Matric with Mathematics (minimum C symbol or equivalent).
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a Financial Accountant or similar role.
• Experience with foreign transactions and import documentation will be advantageous.

Our client in Lanseria is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join their finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key accounting functions while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric with Mathematics (minimum C symbol or equivalent)
• Relevant Accounting qualification (Diploma or Degree preferred)
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a Financial Accountant or similar role
• Experience working on an ERP accounting system
• Strong knowledge of VAT, reconciliations, fixed assets, inventory, and supplier accounts
• Experience with foreign transactions and import documentation will be advantageous
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Fluent in both English and Afrikaans (spoken and written)
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Honest, reliable, and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Own reliable transport to the Lanseria office
• Willing to work Monday to Friday (07:00-17:00) and Saturdays (09:00-13:00) when required
